Passive Portfolios

Balanced Passive

The Portfolio is designed for those clients that have the following long-term investment characteristics:

  • They are neither risk adverse or adventurous

  • They accept a reasonable level of capital risk on the understanding that they can obtain a commensurately increased rate of investment return

  • They want consistent and steady capital appreciation and income

  • They want their investments to be low cost

Strategy and Composition

To meet the investment aspirations of Balanced investors who prefer to use passive investments we use a risk based, multi index approach as its central theme with a strategic emphasis on Global indexed investment mandates to diversify risk and provide capital and income returns.

The investment methodology of each selected fund is considered both independently of, and in conjunction with, other funds in the portfolio to ensure that the overall risk rating, performance and ESG criteria is optimised.

The performance of the portfolio and each fund is reviewed at least monthly by the In Partnership Investment Team and Quarterly by the Investment Committee, and rebalances take place automatically.
